Market Presence
The petroleum industry in East Africa is one of the fastest growing business sectors in the region and plays a critical role in the GDP of the member states. The sector is dominated by multinationals who are fast losing market share to independent players like Pacific Petroleum.
Statistics by the regular bodies in the region indicate that demand for petroleum products have not been met yet the prevailing supply rates. This is evident from the fact that a third of the year, the region faces acute supply deficits of the products.
Prices are high around the year in relation to world oil prices. We have a market presence in Kenya both in bulk and retail business. We have developed export market in Uganda, Southern Sudan and DRC Congo.
We have subsidiary in the Southern Sudan to increase our market penetration and to serve our customer better. Nova petroleum limited operates from Juba and is in the process of developing and operating a wide distribution network in the country.
